A guided three-hour walk to the heights of Montaña Escanfraga, among the tallest volcanoes on Fuerteventura — a route through the island's oldest, emptiest interior with horizon-wide views.
What the experience involves
The Escanfraga hike follows old paths through volcanic terrain towards the 533-metre summit. The advertised walk is around seven kilometres and three hours, with a moderately demanding ascent and views across northern Fuerteventura.
Before you book
The supplier describes groups of two to eight, pickup by arrangement and an activity not recommended for under-eights or people with reduced mobility. Bring grippy footwear, water, snacks, sun protection and a windproof layer. Allow extra time for transfers.
